What is an MSP security audit?

A fixed-fee, read-only review of an organization's security controls, delivered through its managed service provider, with a scored report and a fix list.

How much does it cost?

Baseline audits are priced by device tier and compliance audits by scope. Your MSP sets the price you pay. MSPs can request partner pricing through the partner inquiry form.

How long does it take?

Typically 5–10 business days after access is granted, depending on size.

Can I buy directly?

Audits are sold only through MSPs. Ask your MSP to order one. If you do not have an MSP, email hello@enhanced.io and we will introduce a partner. enhanced.io does not sell the audit direct.

Do you change anything in my environment?

The audit is read-only. Changes happen only through remediation you approve, carried out with your MSP.

Which tools do you support?

Major RMM, EDR, Microsoft 365 and Entra, and firewall platforms. Ask your MSP about a platform that is not on that list.

Is this a penetration test?

It is a configuration and controls audit. A penetration test or a vulnerability scan can be scoped separately. They answer different questions.

What happens after the audit?

Your MSP fixes the issues. Optional follow-on work is hourly remediation, Security Director advisory, the included client dashboard, or Enhanced Defense monitoring. If you start enhanced.io managed SOC through your MSP within 90 days, 50% of the audit fee is credited.

Does this help with a HIPAA security risk assessment?

The compliance audit maps controls to the HIPAA Security Rule and produces a control-by-control gap report your MSP can work from. It is a readiness review. It is not a legal opinion and it does not certify compliance.
